In September ’08 GRN has started a work in Belgium. We were first located in the building of the Evangelical Theological Faculty, but now we operate from the Geldenaaksebaan 120 in Louvain.
In Belgium live many ethnic groups whom we want to reach with the Gospel. At the moment there are about 1,5 million expatriates in Belgium. This is 15% of the population as a whole. One third of them were born in Belgium. Each year this increases with 34000 migrants. The Moroccan population is one of the fastest growing, but also Chinese, Indians, Filipino’s and Brazilians have found their way to Belgium. In Brussels live about 29% of the foreigners.
Gospel Recordings wants to reach these people in the language of their heart with the use of various audio-materials. We want to make contacts with organizations and persons who work amongst these people, like seafarers, asylum seekers, prisoners, etc. We have also made a Flemish evangelization cd with testimonies from Flemish Christians and Christian Music.
